Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming **Alison Bennett MP, Kirsty Lord (Chief of Staff), Kathryn Hall (Chief Executive, Mid Sussex Council), and Judy Holmes (Deputy Chief Executive, Mid Sussex Council)** to **Universal Quantum**. Their visit provided a fantastic opportunity to open up our lab, showcase our cutting-edge technology, and share our vision for the future of quantum computing. Engaging directly with decision-makers is invaluable - it bridges the gap between commercial innovation and policy, ensuring that quantum innovation is both recognised and strategically supported.

As we continue pushing the boundaries of **quantum computing on a global scale**, we remain equally committed to **strengthening our local foundations**. Groundbreaking technology does not evolve in isolation; it thrives within a strong and well-connected ecosystem. **Collaboration at both regional and national levels** is fundamental to advancing this field, helping to **attract top talent, secure investment, and foster innovation**. Strong regional backing creates the right conditions for breakthroughs, ensuring the UK remains competitive in the race to develop scalable quantum computing.

Today’s visit allowed our guests to **experience our technology up close, meet key members of our team, and gain a deeper understanding of how quantum computing will drive real-world impact**. Seeing the technology firsthand helps decision-makers appreciate not only its potential but also the infrastructure, resources, and strategic planning required to make it a success.

I am grateful for the continued engagement and support from our **local leaders**, who play a crucial role in shaping the future of this industry. Their backing is essential to ensuring that quantum computing is not just a scientific breakthrough but a **transformative force that benefits industries, economies, and society at large**.

A big thank you to our **onsite team for taking the time to show the officials around and host them -** your dedication makes these engagements possible.
